 I have completed my survey and I commend all to give their imput.Far more use than bar conversations.Yes we have a new team at the helm.Give them your support and make the 2008 Race one to remember.Talk it up and not down.

i think the most important point here is that Steve has put himself out to raise the profile of the 2008 RER.  this can only be a good thing.

Robin you have hit the nail on the head - SA is one of the world's most watched websites. It is undeniably focussed on the US but has a loyal following both in the Solent and BMYC. I shall be shamelessly pimping the race once the committee and I have thrashed out the final details. I'm off to Fecamp this weekend to meet with SRF and check out some possible venues for the presentation. More news soon.
