We kick off this coming Saturday-weather permitting. After the frustration of the Easter Regatta I am sure you will all welcome the chance to tune your rigging and crew. The usual Pursuit-not too serious but lots of fun.
I am ashamed to say will not be joining you ad we are away for both the first and the second race.Who better to organize than last years winner Bandito.Over to you Mark.
David.Captain CAKS.

Hi Pursuiters,
Well I was away and it wasnt my fault-or indeed Marks-that we didnt manage to sail either of the first two races in our series.Anyway lets hope for better weather on this coming Saturday when everyone is welcome.
In Sailing,David.

Hi Pursuiters,
Yesterday the sun shon and 9 of us at last managed a race in the first series after 3 blowouts.Geronimo,a sailability Sonar, romped home in first place closely followed by that old campaigner White Haze with Jboch steeming into third.Delays with the lock but as we know that cannot be helped.A near perfect day was rounded off by a St Georges Fish & Chip supper at the Club.Dick Warner and his gang provided superb entertainment.Well done to everyone involved-a great evening in true SYC spirit.

Hopefully some of you are still out there reading this Forum? In that hope here goes.We got the second and final race in on Saturday blessed by a lovely day.Two sausages down to no.5 and back.Moonlight Saunter just managed to overtake White Haze into first across the line.A Supper was held down at Southwick in the evening when it was announced that White Haze had won the first Series with two second places-all that we managed to sail.Numbers attending were more quality than quantity but a good time was had by all.Spagbol for the second time in two days but great all the same. Thanks to Jennie & Di.
We now have a break until 6th September-its all in your Fixture Card do come and join us.
