Pursuit Racing.2010 Second Series.

Those with very sharp eyes will have noticed that the "rules" of Pursuiting have had a tweak.Reading what it says somehow it isn`t quite right.What it should say is a lift of 40 if you are last & 30 if you are next to last.We don`t go any further up the list than that or competitors could have both lifts & deductions going on which doesn`t realy make sense.
If you are now even more confused just keep joining in and you will find that the cups will be all on the last two races.In the Series of 7 you will have 2 discards-so best of 5 to count.This coming Saturday will be Race 5.All to sail for.
As I am sure you know the bottles for first places in both 1st & 2nd Series Races will be awarded at the combined Laying Up & Pursuit Supper at Shoreham on the 30th October.Tickets on sale from the Office.The cups & Malts will still be given at our Prizegiving Ball.

For those of you Pursuiters who are looking for results on our Web they are not up to date.Copies on bits of paper are on our notice boards at both Shoreham & Southwick.I delivered the up to date sheet to our "web masters"home this very morning so we should see an up date before Saturdays race.
We have now had 5 races so discards will now start to kick in.All to play for.
Once again dont forget that bottles for the winners in both series will be presented at our Laying Up & Puirsuit Supper on the 30th.Tickets from the Office ASAP
