Yep I'll be racing in RTIR in Olivia Anne GBR3416 this year in IRC as a Quarter. Crew names to be confirmed tho.

Hi Tim
Bandito is entered under her 2011 IRC handicap of 0.865 for the RTI. Have you had any joy with the block booking the fleet into Shepards or ?
Do you have any feel for the number of members taking part yet?
I have wanted to think of a way to raise some funds for Sailability from this event and have come up with two ideas. The first would be for members and friends etc put in say £2 in the pot to guess a members boats unadjusted elapsed race time. I suppose that all boats taking part from the club could do this among friends etc. Nearest time wins a bottle of malt or whatever takes ones fancy. The second idea would only be viable with sufficient club boats involved. If enough, we could have an informal club member race within the RTI. Handicap adjusted times. Say £10 in and winner gets a voucher or booze.
Any thoughts out there or are these stupid ideas?
