Availability of Posts on Saturdays

This is one for SYC skippers and owners.
Am I the only one to be frustrated that we are not currently allowed to use the scrubbing posts at SYC when there is a Sailability Session planned? Obviously the session is active over the high tide which is when a yacht would lay on the posts, but other than having a yacht tied up on the pontoon I cannot see how this would disrupt a session so much that it is not allowed.
We all have to get along together at SYC, but the posts are a valuable facility to us and there are only so many times suitable tides coincide with weekends which are the only times a working boat owner can get to SYC. Oh and Sunday is not really an option for active yachts as that is when we are racing.
