There are a few pictures here taken from Barda of those competing in the SYC Autumn Series. Not every boat is here, just those nearby when I get the camera out (if you see Barda veer wildly off course during a race it's probably because I'm snapping rather than steering).

We were pleased to see Colin the Cod back in his wonted position on Barda, but remain unconvinced that he was codnapped as you allege - being of the opinion that he did indeed defect.
My current hypothesis is that it may have come to Colin's attention that the original filling for pasties - apparently the principal sustenance on Barda - was in fact pilchards and soured cream. It may well be, therefore, that the alleged 'wails of distress' reported heretofore were actually chortles of glee as the aquatic aristo was spirited away by "young Charlie" Pimpernell from the clutches of the piscivorous Shoreham tricoteuses.
You will understand, I am sure, that I offer this theory entirely in the spirit of an earnest quest for elucidation.
