Thanks for your input Tim.The details of PY & positions are in the race bag together with adjusted handicaps for this coming Sunday. If we manage to race on the 14th then a discard could be applied to those who have done all five races. The details of the Prizegiving will be given shortly (cannot make it myself as we are going away). In accordance with the sprit of the event all competitors will get a prize. This is the first time IRC have been extracted and I will be proposing 1st,2nd & 3rd in that Class which of course has not had adjustments.

The Prizegiving will take place at Shoreham and NOT at Southwick as stated in the Racing Handbook. It will be in the hands of Sarah & Martin and will be held after Racing.Jennie & I will be on the high seas but at least Moonlight Saunter managed 4 races .Have a great time and congratulations to whoever comes out on top.I think the 7 races with 4 to count has worked as the entries have kept up.Happy Christmas.

I hope everybody who took part in the 2008 Christmas Cracker Series enjoyed it as much as Barda did.
For the IRC podium to be decided on the final race with only 2 seconds of corrected time splitting 1st and 2nd place is as close as racing gets. If Bathstore had held onto that plane for just another few meters, or perhaps not broached out on the first leg they would have clinched it...
Hats off to Bathstore who gave us a very hard fight. As mentioned yesterday at the unofficial Christmas Cracker meal at Tosca's, Barda got some payback after the Summer, so with the score one all in our tussle with Bathstore we'll be looking forwards to the Spring Series.
Special thanks to Tracey Thomas for organising the meal, and also to all those who did Race Officer duty. Whilst we are out having fun they are stood shivering on the beach. We salute you!
Merry Christmas from team Barda

Well done Barda.Well done everyone.A good series.
Dont forget that every boat wins a prize however many races you did and whether you were first or towards the bottom. If you didnt manage to make the prizegiving-like Moonlight Saunter-then Sarah Hamerton has your Cristmas goody in her tender care.Give her a call and she will arrange a pick up or whatever.
