We were blessed by beautiful weather over the weekend. The race down was in light airs but we got in on the flood around 1430.95 sat down to dinner at the Arun Yacht Club-a record. Most of them came onto Moonlight Saunter for a cockpit party before being ferried over which tested out the sea cocks.Due to it being neaps we decided to delay the Crew`s Race back until 1600 which I know did not please some.Sorry but we were forced into a change of weekends to have the social function-so much a part of our Rally.Anyway a sand castle building competetion was organised in the morning which was won by Jennie & Sarah with an erotic mermaid.
Next years date has been fixed with HW at 1400 hrs so ideal for everyone but sand castle builders.
Thanks for attending in such numbers. It`s so much a part of what we are.

Hi David - sounds like we missed a great evening and sail back on the Sunday (here I curse my work-inducted very low browie point tally which meant we could not stay over on Olly...)
Any news on results by the way Steve? I know if I can't be bothered to turn up for the meal then...etc, but keen to know after that long slog, and am doing my head in wondering whether we were right to go offshore in the hope of getting the sea-breeze, or should have crawled along the shore.....
